Fantasista

Fantasista is the latest project I’ve been involved with:

Fantasista – The Art of the Number 10. Fantasista 2013, is a celebration of contemporary football art inspired by the rapid rise of the ‘football artist’ in the digital age. Over the coming months, we will share the very best work from our blog journalists and artists as well as keeping you up to date with our progress. We encourage artists and bloggers to contribute to the site – allow us to share your talent with our visitors.

The site is a WordPress build incorporating Twitter and Facebook APIs. Behind the scenes I’m using a number of different plugins that have been tweaked to behave accordingly. The plugins include Gallery Plugin, Contact Form Plugin, Google XML Sitemaps, Simple Local Avatars, User Info Display, W3 Total Cache and Wysija Newsletters.

The design is responsive enough to collapse nicely down to a small browser size, screen resolution or mobile device, this was achieved using the CSS  media query (@media), very useful.

I’ve also played with some CSS3 on this project too, nothing heavy, just enough to add a little subtlety to the user experience.
